Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Westlake ST100
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Trailer tire, NOT FOR LIGHT TRUCKS
- Enhanced durability
- Longer lasting tread life
- Fuel efficient performance
OVERVIEW
The Westlake ST100 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The tire offers excellent load and driving durability. The tire's reinforced steel belt construction is further strengthened with a full nylon cap overlay which helps maintain the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. This structure reinforces the tire and prevents its deformation during the drive. This allows the model to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease, significantly boosting the model's load capacity. This combination ensures the tire's excellent performance throughout its usability.
The ideal tire compound improves the all weather traction, which eases the driving pressure off the tire. In this manner, the tire manages to reduce the rolling resistance affecting it. The rolling resistance is the driving pressure affecting the model which determines the towing vehicle's needed fuel intake to keep the tires in motion. By reducing the rolling resistance, the tire minimizes the towing vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This ensures a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.
The ST100 lengthens the tread life significantly. The reinforced steel belt structure, the durable compound and the ideal tread design work together to boost the model's service life. The steel belt construction protects the tire from external damage, such as cuts, punctures and impact damage, preventing it from harming the casing. The durable compound slows the tread wear rate down with the wear-resistant rubber materials. The symmetric ribbed pattern ensures even pressure distribution along the tread area, preventing uneven wear formations across the tread area. This combination guarantees a lengthened usability.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
