Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Samson Traker Plus XL
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Enhanced controllability
- Longer lasting tread life
- Upgraded load durability
OVERVIEW
The Samson Traker Plus XL is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was created for the vehicle's trailer axle.
The tire helps to increase its controllability. The symmetric ribbed tread design and flat footprint enable the tire's surface contact, significantly improving the towing experience. Steering responsiveness and driving stability are effectively boosted, thanks to the optimal surface contact. In this manner, the model helps to increase its steering response time and accuracy, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. This also protects the tire from trailer swaying, improving its overall towing safety.
A longer-lasting tread life is upgraded with the tread design and durable compound. The stable footprint and the wear-resistant compound work together in order to upgrade its usability. Irregular wear is avoided with the even pressure circulation across the tread area. On the other hand, the stronger compound's slows wear rate actively avoids premature wear. The tread's slow and even wear significantly increase the tire's service life.
The Samson Traker Plus XL upgrades its load durability. The tire's special bias-ply structure does not allow the tire to deform under load and driving pressure. Bias-ply tires are known for their load capacity and are used for tires that will be applied on heavy-duty vehicles. In other words, the reinforced construction boosts the tire's load-carrying capability, promoting a stronger performance.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
